Quarterback Riley Nelson threw for 217 yards and three touchdowns (12 yards to Cody Hoffman, 2 to J.D. Falslev, and 8 to Kaneakua Friel) and ran for 87 yards as the BYU Cougars (5-2) defeated the Oregon State Beavers (1-5) 38-28 on Saturday afternoon on the road.
