Ducks Go To NIT, Open At Home Against LSU; Beavers In CBI, Open At Home Against Leathernecks
The Oregon Ducks will host the LSU Tigers in opening-round action in the National Invitational Tournament with game to be played this coming Tuesday.
For the third time in four years, the Oregon State Beavers will play in the College Basketball Invitational tournament and will open at home this coming Thursday against Western Illinois.

Another Saturday At The Movies
And now, boys and girls, time for another web site movie program.
For starters, let's go back to 1945 for "The Dippy Diplomat," starring Woody Woodpecker. In this one, Wally Walrus is preparing a big barbecue for Ambassador Ivan Awfulitch. But Woody has other ideas. This Walter Lantz-produced cartoon, released by Universal Pictures, with story by Ben Hardaway and Milt Schaffer, animation by Pat Matthews and Grim Natwick, and music by Darrell Calker, was directed by James (Shamus) Culhane.
Next, W. C. Fields stars in the 1930 RKO Radio Pictures short subject "The Golf Specialist." This short was produced by Louis Brock and directed by Monte Brice.
Next, we turn to the third chapter of our 1941 Universal Pictures serial, Sea Raiders with the Dead End Kids and Little Tough Guys.
Which brings up to our feature presentation!
We present the 1950 film noir classic "D.O.A." Edmund O'Brien stars as the victim of a slow poison who tries to track down his own killer. This film also stars Pamela Britton, Luther Adler, Neville Brand, and Beverly Campbell. With Harry M. Popkin as executive producer, photography by Ernest Lazlo and music by Dimitri Tiomkin, this United Artists release was written by Russel Rouse and Clarence Greene, produced by Leo C. Popkin and directed by Rudolph Mate.

Spencer Dinwiddie scored 14 points and Carlos Brown added 13 as the Colorado Buffaloes (23-11) defeated the Arizona Wildcats (23-11) 53-51 to win the championship game of the Pacific-12 Conference men's basketball tournament on Saturday and lock up their first NCAA tournament berth since 2003.

Pac-12 Tournament: Wildcats Finish Off Beavers; Colorado Buffaloes Cal To Reach Final
The semifinal round of the Pacific-12 Conference men's basketball tournament took place in Los Angeles with two games contested on Friday.
In the opener, Kyle Fogg scored 22 points as the Arizona Wildcats (23-10) defeated the Oregon State Beavers (19-14) 72-61.
In the nightcap, Carlon Brown and Andre Roberson each scored 17 points as the Colorado Buffaloes (22-11) knocked off the California Golden Bears (24-9) 70-59.
Arizona will take on Colorado in Saturday's championship game for the Pac-12's automatic NCAA tournament berth.
