Here is Brooklyn Dodgers legend Jackie Robinson starring as himself in "The Jackie Robinson Story." This 1950 motion picture, distributed by Eagle-Lion Films, was written by Lawrence Taylor (NOT the Hall of Fame linebacker) and Arthur Mann, produced by Mort Briskin, and directed by Alfred E. Green. Joining Jackie in the cast are Ruby Dee, Minor Watson, Louise Beavers, Richard Lane, Harry Shannon, Ben Lessy, Bill Spaulding, and Billy Wayne.
