TIGERS TOP DUCKS FOR BCS CROWN (AND FIRST NATIONAL TITLE SINCE '57)

At Glendale, Arizona:

Running back Michael Dyer came up with two big runs in the game's final offensive possession, setting up Wes Byrum's 19-yard field goal as time expired to give Auburn (14-0) a 22-19 win over Oregon (12-1) Monday night, enabling the Tigers to win the BCS National Championship game and their first national title since 1957.

Auburn's win made it the fifth year in a row that the BCS crown was won by a team from the Southeastern Conference (Florida in 2006 and 2008, LSU in 2007, and Alabama in 2009).
