Big Tiny Little, R. I. P.
Dudley "Big Tiny" Little, the ragtime pianist who was seen for four years (1955-59) on various Lawrence Welk ABC telecasts before going out on his own, having a tremendously successful career in the process, passed away last Wednesday (March 3) at Carson City, Nevada at age 79.
Here's a clip of Tiny in action, performing "Marianne" on the December 30, 1957 ABC telecast of Lawrence Welk's Top Tunes and New Talent.
Tiny will sorely be missed.
