At Detroit:
Marco Scutaro delivered an RBI double in the top of the tenth inning, scoring Ryan Theriot from second base, then Sergio Romo(that's him, above, celebrating) struck out the side for his third straight save as the San Francisco Giants defeated the Detroit Tigers 4-3 on Sunday to complete a four-game sweep of the World Series as the Giants won their second World Series title in three years (and becoming the first National League club to sweep the series since the Cincinnati Reds did the trick to the Oakland Athletics in 1990). Giants third baseman Pablo Sandoval, who hit .500 (8 for 16) and had those three game-one home runs, was named World Series Most Valuable Player.
