In their final home game at AT&T Park before returning to their renovated on-campus stadium, the California Golden Bears (6-4 overall, 3-4 in Pac-12 play) achieved bowl eligibility with their 23-6 win over the Oregon State Beavers (2-8, 2-5) on Saturday. It was the Bears' first home win over the Beavers since 1997. Isi Sofele ran for a career-high 190 yards and a touchdown (20 yards) while quarterback Zach Maynard threw for a touchdown (19 yards to Michael Calvin) and ran for another (5 yards). The Bears gained 296 on the ground to the Beavers' 27.
