Victory Over UW Sets Ducks Up For Big Showdown With Stanford

At Seattle:


LaMichael James ran for 156 yards and a touchdown as the Oregon Ducks, ranked #8 in the current BCS standings (8-1 overall, 6-0 in Pac-12 play) pulled away from the Washington Huskies (6-3, 4-2) 34-17 on Saturday night, the Ducks' eighth straight win overall and eighth successive over their rivals from the Emerald City.  The game was the Huskies' final home contest at Husky Stadium before its' $250 million renovation.


The Ducks will carry that winning streak into Palo Alto for their showdown with unbeaten Stanford next Saturday.
