NCAA West: Aztecs and UConn Advance To Sweet Sixteen

Two games were played in the West Region of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament on Saturday.


At Tucson, Arizona:


Billy White scored 16 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, while Kawhi Leonard sealed the victory with a steal and a slam dunk as #2 San Diego State defeated #7 Temple 71-64 in double overtime to advance to their first-ever Sweet Sixteen.


At Washington:


A 33-point night for Kemba Walker carried #3 Connecticut to a 69-58 win over #6 Cincinnati in a battle of Big East Conference schools.
