Time For Another Cartoon, Boys and Girls!

From 1950, here's a Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Tom and Jerry Cartoon, entitled "Safety Second."  In this one, all Little Nibbles (Tuffy) the mouse wanted to do on Independence Day was shoot off some fireworks.  The results are delightfully disastrous here.

This cartoon, with animation by Ray Patterson, Ed Barge, Kenneth Muse, Irven Spence, and Al Grandmain, and music by Scott Bradley, was produced by Fred Quimby and directed by Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera.
