Stanley Cup Playoffs: Lightning One Win Away From Ousting Caps; OT Goal Give Canucks 2-1 Series Lead

Two more games were played on Tuesday as conference semifinal action continued in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Eastern Conference:

At Tampa, Florida:

Goals scored 24 seconds apart in the third period from Steven Stamkos and Ryan Malone lifted the Tampa Bay Lightning to a come-from-behind 4-3 home win over the Washington Capitals in game three to now lead their series against the Eastern Conference's top seeded team three games to none.

Western Conference:

At Nashville:

Ryan Kesler scored two power play goals, the second being the game winner at 10:45 of overtime, as the Vancouver Canucks took a two-games-to-one lead in their conference semifinal series with the Nashville Predators following their 3-2 game-three home win.
