Ducks Dominate Cardinal To Take Lead In Pac-12 North

At Palo Alto, California:

Running back LaMichael James ran for 146 yards and three touchdowns (of 1, 4, and 58 yards) while quarterback Darron Thomas threw for 155 yards and three more scores as the Oregon Ducks (#7 in the BCS rankings; 9-1 overall, 7-0 in Pac-12 play) dominated the previously-undefeated Stanford Cardinal (#4 in BCS; 9-1, 7-1) 53-30 on the road on Saturday night to take sole possession of first place in the Pacific-12 Conference's Northern Division.  A win in either of their final two regular season games would give the Ducks the division title and home field advantage in next month's inaugural Pac-12 Conference title game.
