At New York:
Second-goal goals from Marc Staal and Dan Giraldi, along with solid goaltending from Henrik Lundqvist (who stopped 26 of 27 shots), carried the New York Rangers to a 2-1 game-seven home win over the Ottawa Senators, enabling them to win their opening-round series.
