Two more games were played in the West Coast Conference men's basketball tournament on Friday in Las Vegas:
In the opener, Michael Williams scored 19 points while Cody Doolin added 16 as the #5-seeded San Francisco Dons (20-12) held off the #4-seeded Loyola Marymount Lions (19-12) 67-60. The Dons will face top-seeded St. Mary's in Saturday's opening semifinal contest.
In the nightcap, Noah Harsock (who scored 19 points) and Brandon Davis (who added 16) combined for 27 second-half points as the third-seeded BYU Cougars (25-7) held off the stubborn sixth-seeded San Diego Toreros (13-18) 73-68. The Cougars will get their shot at second-seeded Gonzaga in Saturday's second semifinal.
