Despite a 310-yard and two touchdown pass day from quarterback Alex Smith, the Seattle Seahawks, with Olindo Mare kicking a 30-yard field goal as time expired, knocked off the San Francisco 49ers 20-17 Sunday in NFL play. The Niners and Hawks (both now 5-7) now trail Arizona by three games in the NFC West Division.
