Prominent Obits

Gene Barry, best remembered for his portrayals of Bat Masterson and Amos Burke on television in the 1950s and 1960s, passed away last Wednesday at a Woodland Hills, California assisted-living facility at age 90.

Pioneering televangelist and the founder of the Tulsa, Oklahoma university that bears his name, Oral Roberts, passed away Tuesday at a Newport Beach, California hospital from pneumonia at age 91.

Roy Edward Disney, Walt's nephew, who was a major force at the studio that his father and uncle co-founded, passed away on Wednesday from stomach cancer at Newport Beach, California at age 79.
