KINGS CROWN DEVILS TO WIN FIRST STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONSHIP

During a five-minute first-period power play, Dustin Brown, Jeff Carter (who scored twice overall), and Trevor Lewis (who also scored twice overall) each delivered a goal while Jonathan Quick (seen here celebrating with Drew Doughty), who was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff Most Valuable Player, stopped 17 of 18 shots as the Los Angeles Kings throttled the visiting New Jersey Devils 6-1 on Monday night to wrap up the first Stanley Cup Championship in their 45-year history as they won the Stanley Cup Final four games to two.
