D. J. Cooper and Nick Kellogg (in his case, off the bench) each scored 18 points as the Ohio Bobcats (1-0) smashed opened what was a 33-33 halftime stalemate and demolished the visiting Portland Pilots (0-1) 81-52 on Saturday in the men's collegiate basketball regular-season opener for both schools. The Bobcats outscored the Pilots 48-19 in the second half.
