NBA Playoffs: Thunder Dominate Nuggets; Spurs, Lakers Square Respective Series At 1-1

Three games were played on Wednesday as the opening round of the NBA Playoffs continued.  All the action took place in the Western Conference.


At Oklahoma City:


Kevin Durant scored 23 points and Russell Westbrook added 21 as the Oklahoma City Thunder took care of the visiting Denver Nuggets 106-89 to take a two-games-to-none lead in their conference quarterfinal series.


At San Antonio:


Playing with a bulky brace on his elbow, Manu Ginobili scored 17 points as the San Antonio Spurs squared their first-round series with the Memphis Grizzlies at a game apiece with a 93-87 win at home.


At Los Angeles:


Andrew Bynum scored 17 points and pulled down 11 rebounds while Lamar Odom scored another 16 as the Los Angeles Lakers evened their series with the New Orleans Hornets at one game apiece following their 87-78 game-two home triumph.
