Stanley Cup Playoffs: Bruins Ambush Flyers In Series Opener; 2OT Goal Squares Series For Predators

Two games were played on Saturday as the Stanley Cup Playoffs continued.


Eastern Conference:


At Philadelphia:


David Krejci and Brad Marchand each scored twice as the Boston Bruins throttled the Philadelphia Flyers 7-3 on the road in the opening contest of their conference semifinal series.


Western Conference:


Matt Halischuk scored the game-winning goal at 14:51 of the second overtime period while Pekka Rinne stopped 44 of 45 shots as the Nashville Predators squared their series at one game apiece following their game-two road win 2-1 over the Vancouver Canucks.
