Two games were played Friday in the Midwest Region of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.
At St. Louis:
Wayne Chism scored 22 points and Brian Williams--who scored the game winner on a tip-in with 32 seconds remaining--grabbed 12 rebounds as #6 Tennessee reached their first-ever Elite Eight with a 76-73 win over #2 Ohio State.
Durrell Summers scored 19 points and had 7 rebounds as Michigan State laid claim to another Elite Eight appearance as the #5 Spartans ended #9 Northern Iowa's tourney run with a 59-52 triumph.
