NCAA South: Baylor Demolishes St. Mary's; Kyle Singler Leads Duke By Boilermakers

Two games took place Friday in the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournment's South Region.

At Houston:

In a game not as close as the final score indicated, #3 Baylor smothered #10 St. Mary's 72-49.  LaceDarius Dunn scored 23 points to pace the Bears into the Elite Eight----and one win away from their first Final Four since 1950. Ekpe Udoh had 11 rebounds for Baylor.

Kyle Singler scored 24 points and Brian Zoubek grabbed 14 rebounds as top-seeded Duke defeated #4 Purdue 70-57 to reach their first Elite Eight since 2004.
