Bad Week For College Football

With the still festering epidsode surrounding Ohio State head coach Jim Tressel, you now have the forced departure of the CEO of the Fiesta Bowl over financial irregularities, followed by relevations by four ex-Auburn Tigers that they were being paid during recruiting, and while playing.

Now comes word that a Texas-based football trainer, currently under investigation after receiving $25,000 from the University of Oregon, told Texas A&M that it had to beat 80 grand if it wanted to sign star recruit Patrick Peterson (who signed with LSU).

Ouch.
