LAMICHAEL RUNS WILD AS DUCKS TOP UCLA FOR THIRD STRAIGHT PAC-12 TITLE AND ROSE BOWL BERTH

At Eugene, Oregon:

Running back LaMichael James, named the game's Most Valuable Player, ran for 219 yards and three touchdowns as the Oregon Ducks (11-2, ranked #9 in the BCS rankings) defeated the visiting UCLA Bruins (6-7), 49-31 in the inaugural Pacific-12 Conference Championship Game on Friday night.  The win assured the Ducks, winners for their third successive conference crown, of their third straight appearance in a BCS bowl, in this case, next month's Rose Bowl (their second in three years).
