Meineke Car Care Bowl: Aggies Hold Off Wildcats For First Bowl Win Since 2001; Northwestern Still Seeking First Bowl Win Since '49

At Houston:

Quarterback Ryan Tannenhill threw for 329 yards and a touchdown while running back Ben Malena ran for two more scores as Texas A&M (7-6) held off Northwestern (6-7) 33-22 in Saturday's Meineke Car Care Bowl.  The win was the first in a bowl game for the Aggies since 2001 while the Wildcats, whose last bowl win came in the 1949 Rose Bowl, have lost an NCAA record-tying ninth straight bowl game.
