Anze Kopitar gets Martin Brodeur to commit, which makes it easier for the Kings center to score on a breakaway in overtime. (US Presswire)

Anze Kopitar scored the winning goal at 8:13 of the first overtime period on Wednesday night (that's him beating Martin Brodeur here) as the Los Angeles Kings won their ninth straight game on the road to start the playoffs with a 2-1 win over the New Jersey Devils in the opening contest of the Stanley Cup Final.  The second game will be played Saturday night in Newark.
