Stanley Cup Playoffs: OT Goal Sends Kings To First Cup Finals Since 1993

At Glendale, Arizona:


Dustin Penner scored the winning goal at 17:42 of overtime on Tuesday night as the Los Angeles Kings defeated the Phoenix Coyotes 4-3 in game five of the Western Conference finals, which the Kings won four games to two.  Los Angeles, who are currently 8-0 on the road in the playoffs,  will open up their second Stanley Cup Finals appearance next Wednesday night at New York or New Jersey.  The Kings dropped their one previous finals appearance four-games-to-one to the Montreal Canadiens in 1993.
