NCAA Midwest: No Kendall Marshall? Problem For Tar Heels As Jayhawks Win To Get Crack At Buckeyes In New Orleans

At St. Louis:

Tyshawn Taylor scored 22 points as the second-seeded Kansas Jayhawks (31-6) defeated the top-seeded, but once again Kendall Marshall-less, North Carolina Tar Heels (32-6) 80-67 in the final of the Midwest Regional of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, contested at the Edward Jones Dome.  The Jayhawks, heading for their first Final Four since 2008 (when they last won the national championship), will face Ohio State in a national semifinal contest this coming Saturday at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.
