Starting his first game at quarterback since high school, Cody Faz, playing in place of the injured Sean Mannion, threw for 332 yards and three touchdowns , two to Markus Wheaton (11 and 24 yards) and one to Colby Prince (5 yards) as the Oregon State Beavers (ranked #10 in the Associated Press poll and #14 in the USA Today/Coaches poll; 5-0 overall, their best start in 73 years) defeated Brigham Young University (4-3) 42-24 on Saturday on the road.
