Gary Collins, an actor who went on to host the 1980s syndicated daytime television series Hour Magazine (for which he won an Emmy Award in 1983 for Outstanding Talk-Show Host) and who was a former master of ceremonies for the Miss America Pagaent, passed away on Saturday from natural causes at Biloxi, Mississippi Regional Medical Center at the age of 74.
At the time of his passing, Mr. Collins had been married for 45 years to former Miss America Mary Ann Mobley, though the two were separated last year. It was Gary's second marraige.
