Niners Make NFL History As They Turn Bills Into Buffaloburgers

At San Francisco:

Alex Smith completed 18 of 24 passes for 303 yards and three touchdowns (43 yards to Kyle Williams; 28 yards to Michael Crabtree; 10 yards to Mario Manningham) while Frank Gore carried the ball for 106 yards and a touchdown (one yarder) as the San Francisco 49ers (4-1) scored the last 42 points en route to a 45-3 home annihilation of the Buffalo Bills (2-3).  In the victory, the Niners became the first team in National Football League history to rush AND pass for 300 or more yards in the same game.
