The NBA Playoffs continued Tuesday with four games.
EASTERN CONFERENCE:
At Atlanta:
Joe Johnson scored 27 points while Josh Smith came close to a triple double (21 points, 14 rebounds, 9 assists) as the Atlanta Hawks took a two-games-to-none lead in their conference quarterfinal series with a 96-86 game-two home win over the Milwaukee Bucks.
At Boston:
Even without the suspended Kevin Garnett, the Boston Celtics manhandled the visiting Miami Heat 106-77 in game two to take a two-games-to-none series lead. Ray Allen scored 25 points to pace the Celts and Glen Davis added 23.
WESTERN CONFERENCE:
At Phoenix:
Jason Richardson scored 29 points, Grant Hill tallied 20 (making 10 of 11 from the field), and Steve Nash registered 16 rebounds to go with his 13 points as the Phoenix Suns salvaged a split of their first two series games at home with a 119-90 beatdown of the Portland Trail Blazers.
At Los Angeles:
The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder 95-92 in game two to take a two-games-to-none lead in their best-of-seven series. Kobe Bryant scored 39 points to pace the Lakers. Pau Gasol added 25 points and 12 rebounds for Los Angeles. Kevin Durant scored 32 to lead the Thunder.
