Jaroslav Halak had another superior evening in goal as he stopped 41 of 42 shots, and Marc-Andre Bergeron (PP) and Dominic Moore each scored a goal---the latter scoring the game and series winner at 16:24 of the third period as the Montreal Canadiens defeated the Washington Capitals 2-1 on the road in game seven, and came back from a three-games-to-one deficit to win their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series four games to three as the opening round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs concluded Wednesday night.
