At Pittsburgh:
Sidney Crosby had a hand in both goals, scoring the equalizer in the first period and assisting on Kris Letang's third-period game winner, as the Pittsburgh Penguins leveled their first-round series with the Ottawa Senators at one game apiece with a 2-1 home win in game two.
WESTERN CONFERENCE:
At Chicago:
J. P. Dumont scored twice in the third period as the Nashville Predators defeated the Chicago Blackhawks 4-1 on the road in the opening contest of their opening round series.
At Glendale, Arizona:
Henrik Zetterberg's first career playoff hat trick helped lead the Detroit Red Wings to a 7-4 win on the road to square their series with the Phoenix Coyotes at one game apiece.
At San Jose, California:
Devin Setoguchi scored the game-winning goal (his second of the game) 5:22 into overtime as the San Jose Sharks evened-up their series with the Colorado Avalanche with a 6-5 home win.
