Stanley Cup Playoffs: Bruins, Caps, and Kings Tie Respective Series At One Game Apiece

Three games were played on Saturday as the Stanley Cup Playoffs continued:

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Buffalo, New York:

The Boston Bruins came back from a two-goal deficit to defeat the Buffalo Sabres 5-3 on the road to square their conference quarterfinal series at one game apiece.  Michael Ryder and Zdeno Chara each scored twice for the "B's."

At Washington:

Nicklas Backstrom completed his hat trick with the game winner at 31 seconds of overtime as the Washington Capitals leveled their series with the Montreal Canadiens at one game apiece with a thrilling 6-5 home victory. 


WESTERN CONFERENCE:


At Vancouver, British Columbia:

Anze Kopitar scored his first career playoff goal at 7:22 of overtime as the Los Angeles Kings defeated the Vancouver Canucks 3-2 on the road to even their series at one game apiece.
